So how is President Trump's decision to reopen the government without a guarantee of border wall funding playing on the right? If Ann Coulter is any guide, not well. "Good news for George Herbert Walker Bush: As of today, he is no longer the biggest wimp ever to serve as President of the United States," she tweeted. As the Hill notes, Coulter is often seen as a bellwether of feelings for Trump among his conservative base. She has delivered withering criticism of the president in recent weeks in regard to the wall, but none as withering as that tweet. Trump made a point on Friday to raise anew his threat to declare a national emergency to build a wall if no final deal is reached, but that apparently did not satisfy Coulter, once a staunch Trump ally. (Mike Huckabee thinks Coulter should try governing if she thinks it's so easy to make decisions like this.)
