(AP Photo/Keith Srakocic) (Associated Press) The PIttsburgh Penguins skated back from deficits of 1-0 and 3-1 to force overtime in last night's game against the Carolina Hurricanes, then went three-for-three to win the shootout and the game. Backup goalie Dany Sabourin blocked 29 shots, most critically the glove save that stopped the Hurricanes from tying the shootout, reports the Post-Gazette. Sabourin gave up Carolina's first goal in the first minute of the game, but then then "made some key saves, especially on the penalty-killing in the third period," says coach Michel Therrien. The coach, who juggled his defensive lineup again last night, hopes to bring his team above .500 for the first time this season with a win tonight in Washington. (More NHL stories.) Report an error
