The worldwide Interpol hunt for a Canadian schoolteacher accused of sexually abusing young boys in Asia has ended: Thai police this morning caught up with Christopher Paul Neil in northeastern Thailand. "Bingo! We've got him," said a local police chief after arresting Neil, 32, in his rented room, the Toronto Star reports.

The unprecedented search for Neil began when German police unscrambled digitally swirled Internet images of him allegedly abusing boys in Vietnam and Cambodia. Neil fled South Korea, where he taught English, and was hiding in Thailand in the company of a Thai man believed to have helped procure young boys for him, police said. Canadian authorities said they will seek his extradition. (More Thailand stories.)
