If you’ve ever wondered which female celebrity most women would go gay for, or the average number of dates it takes before a woman will offer to pay for dinner, never fear: Esquire's Survey of the American Woman is here. The mag polled nearly 10,000 women—here’s what they found out:
- Sexy women: Zooey Deschanel is the woman most other women (31%) would sleep with (Megan Fox took second); Christina Hendricks won best-looking woman in America with 30% of the vote.
- Sexy men: Johnny Depp won the most votes (29%) for best-looking man in America, and, um, congratulations Zac Efron—you got 8% of the votes for best-looking woman in America (and 3% of the votes for best-looking man).
- Just plain sex: Seven percent admit to never practicing safe sex; 57% say they always do. And though 24% admit to having an affair, only 16% say they would cheat if they knew they wouldn’t get caught.
- Paying for dinner: Fifty-one percent claim to offer on the first date; only 2% wait more than six dates to offer, but 7% think the man should always pay.
- Going to dinner: Sixty-five percent say it’s a-OK for a woman to use her sexuality to get a better table at a restaurant—but 71% say it’s not cool for her to do the same thing to get ahead in her career.
- "Guy" stuff: Only 35% know how to change the oil in a car, which is less than the number (42%) who’ve visited a strip club. Sixteen percent can’t parallel park.
