(AP Photo/Richard Drew) Stocks fell today as Alcoa's $277 million loss sounded a sour note for the beginning of the earnings season, the Wall Street Journal reports. The Dow fell 37 points to close at 10,627. The Nasdaq lost 30 points, closing at 2,282. The S&P 500 dropped 11 points to settle at 1,136.
