Told-On Buffett Cools Toward Tell-All Author

Billionaire Warren Buffett has canceled his annual public tête-à-tête with his biographer after the book they collaborated on left him with mixed feelings, reports the New York Times. For the past decade, the Oracle of Omaha has submitted to questions from Alice Schroeder during a huge dinner she hosted after the Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting. Not this year.

The sticking point apparently is the bio, The Snowball, published in September. Its details of Buffett’s complex relationship with his late wife, Susan, apparently displeased him. "Now that the book is finished, it is not as frequent as before," Schroeder said of their contact. "You can conjecture what you want from that." A spokesman for Buffett said of the annual dinner: "He decided he didn’t want to do it."
