Belgian murder suspect Kim De Gelder has admitted guilt in the slaying of two infants and a daycare worker, the Telegraph reports. “He understands that he did something inhuman. Police have also ruled out a connection with Heath Ledger’s death as a “false lead,” though why De Gelder wore black and white face makeup is still unclear, the lawyer added, and “why he chose babies in a crèche as victims is still an enigma.” De Gelder’s parents tried to commit him 2 years ago, but authorities deemed his ongoing treatment for depression sufficient.
