In a significant escalation of the Tom Brady-Gisele Bundchen marital drama, sources tell outlets including NBC News, CNN, and Page Six that both the NFL quarterback and the supermodel have hired divorce lawyers. They've been married since 2009 and share a 12-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter. Brady also has a 15-year-old son with ex Bridget Moynahan. The source who spoke to CNN says Brady and Bundchen are "exploring their options" regarding their marriage, but the source who talked to Page Six has a gloomier outlook: "I don’t think there will be any coming back now. They both have lawyers and are looking at what a split will entail, who gets what and what the finances will be."

Sources say, however, that they would share joint custody of their kids in the event of a divorce, as they're both very involved parents. "I never actually thought this argument would be the end of them, but it looks like it is," the Page Six source says. The couple has reportedly been living separately for some time since the trouble, which sources say is related to Bundchen's unhappiness with Brady's refusal to retire as well as other issues, first started. Fox News runs down what Brady and Bundchen have publicly said about their relationship over the years. (More Tom Brady stories.)
