New DNA evidence in the JonBenet Ramsey murder case has exonerated the entire Ramsey family, the Boulder Daily Camera reports. Scientists analyzed a sample from JonBenet's clothes, using new technology called "touch DNA," and found no match to JonBenet's parents, brother, or anyone in law enforcement databases. The local district attorney apologized to the family for their ordeal after the 1996 murder.

"To the extent that we may have contributed in any way to the public perception that you might have been involved in this crime, I am deeply sorry," the DA wrote. She added that she regretted the evidence didn't become clear before the death of JonBenet's mother, Patsy, 2 years ago from cancer. (More JonBenet Ramsey stories.)
