Boris Johnson is about to birth more than a little political upheaval: The British prime minister is expecting his first child with girlfriend Carrie Symonds, 31, who the Guardian notes is "the first unmarried prime ministerial partner in history." The pending bundle of joy is expected in early summer, and the Guardian unhelpfully does the math and suggests that love was in the air "around the time that the 31 October Brexit deadline was extended." That's not the only big life change for the 55-year-old Johnson, as a rep also said that "the prime minister and Miss Symonds are very pleased to announce their engagement."

That will make Johnson the first PM to get hitched in office in 250 years; the baby will be the first born to a sitting PM since David Cameron and his wife welcomed a daughter in 2010. A family court judge on Tuesday also granted a financial settlement with Johnson's second wife that will pave the way for their divorce. He is believed to have at least five children with two women, but refuses to confirm. (More Boris Johnson stories.)
