President Trump spoke to Fox News host Sean Hannity in a pre-Super Bowl interview—and he didn't hold back from unloading on the Democratic White House hopefuls. The president described Joe Biden as "sleepy" and said Elizabeth Warren's platform was a "fairy tale," USA Today reports. Trump described Bernie Sanders as a communist, saying "Now, you could say socialist, but didn’t he get married in Moscow?" the Hill reports. Sanders visited the Soviet Union with wife Jane soon after they were married in 1988. Trump also slammed "very confused, very nervous" House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and said he doubted he would work on any new legislation with Congress this year, citing his "very unfair" treatment from Democratic leaders.

Trump, who predicted that he would easily win re-election this year, also claimed that Michael Bloomberg wants to stand on a box during Democratic debate, which prompted a few insults from the Democrat. The interview, which aired before Sunday's Super Bowl, was recorded in Florida on Saturday night. Trump also discussed his handling of the coronavirus outbreak, saying he had "shut it down" by closing the borders to foreigners who had recently been in China, reports the New York Times. "We pretty much shut it down coming in from China," Trump said. "But we can’t have thousands of people coming in who may have this problem, the coronavirus. We're going to see what happens, but we did shut it down, yes." He said his administration had offered "tremendous help" to China. (More President Trump stories.)
