"I just want my precious little boy to come back in my arms where he belongs," says a San Francisco woman who has gone all-out in an effort to find her dog, which was stolen from outside a grocery store on Saturday. Emilie Talermo has raised more than $7,000 on GoFundMe to offer a reward for the return of Jackson, her miniature Australian Shepherd, and she has spent more money on a plane that will fly a banner over the city, KNOS reports. The plane, which cost $1,200, will display the address of the website Talermo set up for the search when it flies over San Francisco and Oakland on Friday, reports the AP.

Talermo and friends have handed out thousands of flyers with pictures of Jackson, a 28-pound dog with white, black, and gray fur and blue eyes. She says he was taken in the Bernal Heights neighborhood by an man seen on surveillance footage "who took a photo of him, pet him, sat next to him, and then untied him from the bench and walked off with him." She says the reward will go to "anyone who can return him safely —no questions asked." Talermo says the reward will be capped at $7,000 and any money raised over that amount will go to Rocket Dog Rescue. (More San Francisco stories.)
