Four bodies were found along the US-Mexico border Sunday night, and three of them were young children. The remains of a 20-year-old woman, a toddler, and two infants were found in a brushy area near the Rio Grande, southeast of Anzalduas Park in the Las Palomas Wildlife Management Area, KRGV reports. ABC News notes that region is "rife with human trafficking." The FBI is leading the investigation since the bodies were found on federal property. The immigration status of the victims is pending, and authorities have said there were no signs of foul play and that the victims may have succumbed to dehydration. "Sadly, this is what happens when infants are used as a ticket to enter the US due to arcane laws. Inaction is not an option," Republican Sen. John Cornyn tweeted Monday.
