  • Eighth Grade star Elsie Fisher and Crazy Rich Asians star Awkwafina, who both made their mark as "the queens of pantsuits," per MTV. Fisher wore a three-piece Thom Browne number, while Awkwafina showed up in a sparkly pink Dsquared2 outfit, per Meanwhile, best actress nominee Melissa McCarthy wore a sleek black-and-white pantsuit complete with cape, per Good Housekeeping.
  • reports on all of the stars who were pretty in pink, including Green Book star Linda Cardellini, singer Kacey Musgraves, actress Angela Bassett, and comedian Maya Rudolph.
  • Nominated BlackKkKlansman director Spike Lee supplemented his wardrobe with two props from 1989's Do the Right Thing: two huge knuckle rings that said "love" and "hate."
