An AeroMexico ad with a cheeky offer for Americans has gone viral nearly two weeks after being posted on Twitter, reports ABC 7. In the commercial, Texas residents are asked whether they want to travel to Mexico—"That's not my cup of tea" is an answer that sums them all up—and are then offered a discount equivalent to their percentage of Mexican ancestry in a DNA test. Told their DNA results, which include Mexican ancestry, the Texans seem confused, shocked, or surprisingly happy, per CBS News. One even says something we really can't print.

The ad, which notes that Mexican immigration in the US dates to the 1800s, ends with the slogan, "DNA discounts: There are no borders within us"—a possible jab at President Trump's plan for a border wall. The offer from Mexico's national carrier is apparently real and targets residents of the Western US, including Utah and Arizona, per CNN. (In other AeroMexico news, one of their airliners met a scary fate after takeoff in 2018.)
