Houston Texans star DeAndre Hopkins will collect $29,000 this weekend for his team's playoff game against Indianapolis. Hopkins, however, said Thursday that all of that money will go to the family of Jazmine Barnes, the 7-year-old girl killed in what appears to have been a deliberate attack by the driver of a pickup, reports ESPN. "When I see Jazmine Barnes' face, I see my own daughter," Hopkins tweeted. "On Saturday, I will be playing in your honor, Jazmine." Meanwhile, a separate reward for information leading to the whereabouts of the driver has risen to $100,000, reports the Houston Chronicle.

The driver of the pickup has been described by Jazmine's mother, LaPorsha Washington, as a white man, perhaps in his 40s. Washington says he pulled up next to her car on Sunday and opened fire. Civil rights activists including Shaun King and attorney Lee Merritt see the murder as racially motivated, though Houston police have stopped short of agreeing as the investigation unfolds. Actress Gabrielle Union is among those urging the public to help find the suspect. "Find him!" she tweeted. "This evil monster must be stopped!" (More on Barnes' murder here and here.)
