It was KC Mart #7 at 303 Lee Vaughn Road in Simpsonville, SC, that sold the winning ticket for Tuesday's $1.5 billion Mega Millions drawing, state lottery officials announced Wednesday. Simpsonville, a small city of about 22,000, is near Greenville, the State reports. The owner of the convenience store tells the Greenville News he'll divvy up the roughly $30,000 the store gets for selling the ticket between himself and four employees.

"The winner should sign the back of the ticket, put it in a safe location, seek financial or legal advice from a trusted source, and call the Lottery. The winner has 180 days to come forward to claim the ticket," lottery officials said in a press release. Unless the winner chooses to reveal him or herself, though, the public may never know who he or she is. (More Mega Millions stories.)
