(AP Photo/Evan Vucci, File) President Trump's upcoming meeting with Kim Jong Un may not be Trump's only high-profile summit in the near future. The Wall Street Journal reports that a summit between Trump and Vladimir Putin is in the early planning stages. It's so early that the two nations have yet to pick a location or a date, but the US ambassador to Russia, Jon Huntsman, is reportedly focused on pulling it off. “This has been an ongoing project of Ambassador Huntsman, stretching back months," a senior White House official tells the newspaper. Syria, Ukraine, nuclear-arms control, and a certain Robert Mueller investigation would be likely topics of conversation. The Hill notes that relations between the two countries soured in March over the poisoning of a former Russian spy. (During a March phone call, Trump invited Putin to the White House.)
