An Oklahoma nanny decided to quit on the spot after her employers declined her request for a raise—but when they wouldn't give her her final paycheck, since it wasn't due until the following day, she allegedly held their baby hostage. "We have ... I don’t even know how to describe it. Maybe a possible ransom situation," the baby's father said in a call to the Logan County Sheriff’s office, per KOCO News 5. "Our nanny has possession of our baby and is threatening not to bring her home unless we pay her a check that’s not due until tomorrow. I don’t know what to do, she’s irate." Police say the baby was ultimately returned without harm, and the family declined to press charges. (More strange stuff stories.)
