While at Harvard, Mark Zuckerberg created what would become the world's most popular social network. But before that, he was just an excited kid getting his acceptance letter. In a #tbt Facebook post, Zuckerberg—who will give the commencement speech and receive an honorary degree at Harvard next week, per Business Insider—shared a home video of himself learning he'd been accepted to the school, which he eventually left to develop Facebook.
"Yay, I got accepted," he says quietly before giving a fist pump. His dad, who is shooting the video, has a much more exuberant response. At the time, "my mom bet me I'd drop out and my younger sister bet me she'd finish college before me. I bet them I'd get a degree," Zuckerberg writes. "Now I suppose the cycle is complete."
