One person is dead and others are hurt after a stabbing attack Monday on the University of Texas at Austin campus, CNN reports. One person is in custody, but people are being warned to avoid the area. CNN says two others were injured, while the Austin American Statesman puts the number at three. Their injuries are potentially serious, police say. (More stabbing stories.)
