President Trump's announcement of his Supreme Court nominee—scheduled for 8pm Eastern—could have the feel of a reality show to it. CNN reports leading contenders Neil Gorsuch and Thomas Hardiman were both brought to Washington DC ahead of the announcement. Furthermore, an inside source says both "finalists" will be at the White House for Trump's announcement, according to CBS News. CNN was told by someone close to the White House that the Trump administration is "taking extraordinary measures to build suspense" for the announcement. In fact, the announcement was moved up in the week as Trumps executive order on immigration and refugees continued to negatively dominate headlines. Gorsuch is said to be Trump's likely choice.
