An orchestral performance of Disney's Frozen in Rome last week ended with angry parents and weeping children, Italy's ANSA news agency reports. Orchestra conductor Giacomo Loprieno asked for a microphone at the end of the show, announced into said mic that Santa Claus isn't real, and then exited the stage. The Telegraph reports that he was upset some people had been leaving the performance early in an attempt to beat the lines, but ANSA says attendees had gathered around the stage after the show ended so they could greet Frozen characters by the time he made his declaration. Exact words: "Father Christmas doesn't exist anyway." Loprieno has been fired. (More Santa Claus stories.)
