A suspected tornado killed three people in Alabama as a line of severe storms moved across the South overnight, authorities said. The three who died were all in a mobile home in the northeastern community of Rosalie, reports the AP. The storms in Alabama also left four children critically injured in DeKalb County, reports Al.com. Scores of other injuries and damaged structures were reported throughout the state. Possible tornadoes also were spotted across several counties in northern Alabama and southern Tennessee, per the National Weather Service. Millions remained under a tornado watch, with alerts issued from Louisiana to Tennessee. The latter state is still reeling from wildfires that left three people dead and destroyed hundreds of homes.
