Size may or may not matter when it comes to sex, but length (of time) definitely does, reports the AP. A recent survey of sex therapists reveals that 3-13 minutes is ideal. One researcher wanted to refute the notion that "more of something good is better, and if you really want to satisfy your partner, you should last forever."
The results parallel a previous study that found the median time for sex is 7.3 minutes: Good news for older and younger men who have difficulty lasting longer, said one clinical psychologist, adding that "most people's sex lives are not as exciting as other people think they are." The study, however, did not include foreplay and rated 1-2 minutes of sex "too short." (More sex stories.)
