A really overdue movie and an ill-advised butt pinch are among the weirdest crime stories of the week:

  • Brawl at the Mall With ... the Easter Bunny?: Shoppers at New Jersey's Newport Centre shopping mall got an eyeful from their favorite Easter mascot when a 22-year-old man dressed up as the beloved rabbit and taking pics with kids apparently got into a scuffle with some parents. There were punches, there was glove-tossing, there was ... video of the incident.
  • Man Busted for Not Returning Awful VHS Movie in 2002: North Carolinian James Meyers says he was driving his daughter to school Tuesday when he was pulled over for a broken taillight. After the cop ran his license, he asked Meyers to step out of the car. "I don't know how to tell you this, but there's a warrant out for your arrest from 2002," the cop said, per Meyers. "Apparently you rented the movie Freddy Got Fingered and never returned it." The officer wasn't kidding.

  • Tween Girl Arrested for Pinching Boy's Butt: A 12-year-old girl in Florida is facing misdemeanor battery charges for pinching a boy's butt in between classes. Breana Evans and her friends "were just pinching random people" at Milwee Middle School to see their reactions, and she ended up getting suspended for "socially unacceptable" behavior, which her dad characterized as "crazy" and "not the American way." But things escalated from there.
  • Flight Attendant Flees LAX Barefoot: TSA officers stopped a flight attendant at random last Friday for a security screening, and she bolted ... allegedly leaving behind about 70 pounds of cocaine stashed in her luggage—and her Gucci heels. She remained at large until Wednesday, at which point JetBlue flight attendant Marsha Gay Reynolds turned herself in at New York's JFK Airport. Here's how she managed to get across the country as authorities were looking for her.
  • Calif. Couple Jailed in Africa After Buying Souvenir: A California couple on safari in Africa bought a souvenir that ended up being far more expensive than they could have imagined. Jon and Linda Grant picked up the souvenir, a 15- to 18-inch giraffe bone onto which a herd of elephants had been carved, at a game reserve in South Africa. But when the safari took them to Tanzania, the Grants ended up in jail.
