Devin Washington's job interview on Saturday couldn't have gone better—or worse, really. While interviewing with a manager at a Popeyes in New Orleans around 1pm, the 18-year-old applicant witnessed a man grab cash from a register as a clerk was giving him change, reports WDSU. The manager blocked the exit, but the thief tried to push her out of the way. That's when Washington "bent his arm back" and, with help from a cook, pinned him to the floor, reports the AP. Police say Pablo Ciscart, 50, arrested for robbery and fugitive attachment, admitted to the crime. Washington was hired on the spot. (More uplifting news stories.)
