A 14-month-old puppy is recuperating at home—miraculously—after being hit by an astounding 13 trains last Wednesday in Idaho, KBOI reports. According to a GoFundMe page set up by his owners, Loki got out of the family's yard somehow and made his way to some nearby train tracks. He was hit by 13 trains, likely only being saved when the conductor on the 13th train noticed him and called for help.

Loki lost his tail, an eye, and one of his legs. "We thought for sure we were saying good bye to our fur friend," the GoFundMe page states. But Loki is already walking and eating again. "Words cannot describe it whatsoever," says his owner Ryan Rossi, who tells KBOI the puppy is "slowly getting back to his old self." The family is facing more than $7,000 in vet bills, but donations are pouring in to help. (More uplifting news stories.)
