A teenage boy is regretting hugging a panhandler after giving the man some spare change in Harlem. Police say the 14-year-old Bronx boy gave $1 to a man who looked to be in his 30s while waiting for a train home from school around 6pm on Thursday, per DNAInfo New York. "God bless you," the man apparently told the boy, then hugged him. But when the boy reached into his pocket, his iPhone was missing. The panhandler denied taking the phone, reportedly saying, "Look, I don't need to go back to jail." Police say he had a pony tail and was pushing a blue shopping cart. (More weird crimes stories.)
