Don't mess with Philadelphia's men of the cloth—especially if those cloths are orange. A 61-year-old Buddhist monk at a lottery machine in a Philly gas station Jan. 3 was targeted by a thief who probably assumed the holy man was an easy mark, the Philadelphia Daily News reports. But surveillance video from the Sunoco station shows just the opposite: The suspect approaches the monk, who appears to be keeping his eye on the hovering man, then grabs the monk's wallet, which had $350 inside, from his hands and runs out.

The monk can be seen dashing out the door after him, then chasing him around a car and struggling with the suspect, who pushes the monk to the ground. The thief did get away with the cash, but cops have a license plate, and the monk escaped with just a scratch to his left leg, WPVI reports. (This mummified monk was found in the lotus position.)
