A promising NFL player found himself out of a job just in time for the holidays after a locker room fight over some free headphones. Deadspin reports New York Giants defensive end Damontre Moore was cut on Friday. And ESPN reporter Ian Rapoport—citing an anonymous source—tweets that Moore got into a tussle with teammate Cullen Jenkins "over not getting free Beats by Dre headphones like other players." Additional sources tell ESPN it was a culmination of things that left Moore unemployed. The third-year player "repeatedly violated team rules," earning himself multiple fines this season. So it sounds like Santa won't be providing Moore with free headphones either. (More NFL stories.)
