Dog Walker Finds Bodies in Popular LA Park

Police say they are on high alert after the bodies of two young women were found by a dog walker in a popular Los Angeles park. Capt. Patricia Sandoval says the LAPD has added officers on foot inside Ernest E. Debs Regional Park and in patrol cars in the area after Wednesday afternoon's discovery. She says the case is alarming, especially for people who regularly use the park, about 20 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles. Sandoval says the women were fully clothed, showed no signs of being sexually assaulted, and are thought to have been in the park for days or weeks. She says they look to be in their 20s. Police aren't discussing how the women were killed but say they haven't ruled anything out. (More Los Angeles stories.)
