Experts say Carly Fiorina needs to start bringing in major cash if she wants to seriously challenge for the Republican presidential nomination. But it appears there's one place those donations won't be coming from: her former company. The Daily Beast reports Fiorina hasn't received a single donation of more than $200—the cutoff for tracking by the FEC—from any of Hewlett-Packard's more than 300,000 employees. Furthermore, only one HP board member from Fiorina's tenure as CEO has donated to her campaign: Tom Perkins gave her $25,000, perhaps to make up for voting to fire her in 2005. A former HP employee tells the Daily Beast he's not surprised: “She is a terrible leader. Really, really bad. As bad as they come.”

During the campaign, Fiorina has touted her six years as HP CEO, recently claiming she doubled its size and tripled its innovation, the Daily Beast reports. She's less keen to mention she laid off 30,000 employees, moved thousands of other jobs to China and India, and that her merger with Compaq cut HP's value in half. Employees—perhaps understandably—turned on her, and many still refer to her as "Chainsaw Carly" and "Carly Failorina." "When she was let go, I think for the right reasons, there was a lot of singing ‘Ding Dong, the Witch is Dead,’” another former employee tells the Daily Beast. Ouch. Maybe HP has a competitor that wants to donate to her campaign? (More Carly Fiorina stories.)
