Thai law enforcement have released an arrest warrant, police sketch, and a hefty reward in their efforts to catch the bomber behind this week's deadly blast in Bangkok, the AP and ah report. Cops say the sketch released today, which shows a man with bushy dark hair and eyeglasses, was based on both footage from a security video showing a man in a yellow T-shirt with a backpack and from a description given by a taxi driver who may have given the suspect a ride the night of the blast. A $28,000 reward is also being offered for any info leading to his arrest.
What police still aren't sure of is whether the suspect was wearing a disguise, whether he's a Thai national or an outsider, or even if he's still in the country, the AP notes. What cops do think, though: that the bomber didn't pull it off solo. "He didn't do it alone, for sure. It's a network," Thailand's police chief told reporters. In the meantime, PM Prayuth Chan-ocha has directly appealed to the suspect in the video, telling reporters, per the AP: "If the person wants to be safe, he should turn himself in. It's better than living in hiding. It would make his life miserable." (Tourism officials hope the incident won't affect Bangkok's ranking on the world's most-visited-cities list.)
