An Old Prank Gets New Attention
Mark Gubin of Milwaukee painted the words "Welcome to Cleveland" on his rooftop.   (Google Maps)

A Milwaukee man takes pleasure in confusing and amusing passengers flying in to the nearby General Mitchell International Airport. Mark Gubin painted the words "Welcome to Cleveland" on his rooftop to make disoriented passengers think they're arriving in Ohio. The 72-year-old originally painted the giant message in 1978, but it went viral recently after a photo was posted on Reddit, notes CleveScene.com. It's all "just for fun," he told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel in 2005. (More prank stories.)
