Indian millionaire Mohammed Nisham has been charged with murdering his security guard, allegedly because the man took too long opening the gate to Nisham's home in Kerala as the businessman returned from work. Authorities say Nisham deliberately rammed Kattungal Chandrabose with his Hummer, pinning the 50-year-old man against a wall. Nisham, 39, then allegedly attacked the guard with an iron rod. Chandrabose died yesterday after two weeks on life support, the BBC reports. A columnist in Business Standard explains that, according to reports, Nisham is one resident of a "posh residential complex" and Chandrabose stopped him and asked him for ID before opening the gate to let him in, which reportedly made Nisham angry.

This isn't Nisham's first brush with the law: The tycoon, who reportedly made his money selling tobacco, as well as with Middle Eastern jewelry and hotel businesses, is still embroiled in a 2013 court case involving allegedly allowing his 9-year-old son to drive his Ferrari on a public road, Sky News reports. Also that year, Nisham allegedly locked a police officer who pulled him over inside his Rolls-Royce. He's also been accused of attacking someone over a parking spot, among other alleged misdeeds. He's currently in judicial custody. (A dispute over a painting job reportedly led to an attempted murder in San Diego.)
