A Philadelphia college student hasn't been seen since the night before Thanksgiving, when he left a bar in the early morning. Now the FBI has joined the search, NBC 10 reports. West Chester University student Shane Montgomery, 21, was last seen leaving the bar after he reportedly bumped into a DJ's table, prompting a request for him to leave; a fight was also reported nearby. Police don't currently suspect foul play in the case, but they say the situation is suspicious.

"The bouncer says he spoke to him, and Shane apologized and left," an investigator tells the Philadelphia Inquirer, noting that Montgomery, who was out with friends, wasn't reported to be "falling-down drunk." The search has brought together hundreds of volunteers on the streets and on social media, using the hashtag #HelpFindShane. Investigators, meanwhile, have searched a nearby river and canal for the 5-foot-11-inch, 140-pound student. "Somebody knows where Shane is," his mother says. "Somebody has to know something, so you can't stop" searching. The case follows on the heels of the disappearance of University of Virginia student Hannah Graham, whose death has been ruled a homicide. (More missing person stories.)
