You've got your high-tech methods of smuggling drugs into prison: via drones. You've got your imaginative methods: via a tossed football. And now you've allegedly got this: via grandpa. Police in Ohio arrested an 85-year-old man and charged him with trying to smuggle pot into the Warren Correction Institution while on a visit to see his grandson, reports the Dayton Daily News. Richard Heritz got stopped by guards acting on a tip and ended up behind bars himself before being released on bond. Heritz faces up to seven years on the felony after surrendering a package with 22 grams of marijuana, reports WHIO-TV. Would-be drug smugglers "come in all shapes and sizes," a corrections official tells the Dayton newspaper. (More weird crimes stories.)
