Posting Nude 'Revenge' Pics Now a Felony in Arizona

Arizona is the latest state to outlaw so-called "revenge porn," making it a felony to post sexually compromising images of your ex online without her or his consent. Those who post such images, often as a means of humiliating former partners, may face a minimum of six months to a year in prison and a fine of up to $150,000, the Arizona Republic reports. The law distinguishes between images which feature recognizable victims and those whose subjects are unrecognizable. Distributing the images—online or off—can also now be considered a form of domestic violence in the state. (Read more Arizona stories.)
