It wasn’t too hard for police to make an arrest after a Wells Fargo bank robbery in Denver Tuesday. That’s because 68-year-old John David Martinez wore a T-shirt emblazoned with his first name and drove a getaway car registered in his own name, authorities tell ABC Denver. After someone got the license plate, the investigation and subsequent arrest at a local hotel took all of five hours. As he was being driven to the station, police say Martinez—who has a criminal record that includes assault with a deadly weapon—admitted the crime and explained that he and his wife had been evicted from their home earlier in the week. He faces felony robbery charges. (More Colorado stories.)
