Should Google Glass come with a health warning? Chris Barrett thinks so. Barrett was once one of Glass's top champions. He was the first to film an arrest with it, and even convinced Bon Jovi's keyboard player to wear it onstage. But now he rarely wears the device, he tells Chris Matyszczyk at CNET, because it's literally not worth the headache. He first noticed the problem on his second day wearing the device. "After a few hours of use, my head started to pound," he says.
Barrett rarely gets headaches, so he shrugged it off. But a few weeks later, after wearing Glass for eight hours a day, it came again. "It hurt so badly that I had to go straight home and sleep," he recalls. He soon found that other Glass users had complained of similar issues online. Barrett decided to stop wearing the device constantly—and didn't miss it. "I have it on my desk every day," he says, "but I just don't have a good enough reason to wear it."
