The league-leading Red Wings continued to dominate last night, shutting out Colorado 2-0, the AP reports. Henrik Zetterberg put an end to a scoreless stalemate with a mere two and a half minutes left in regulation, netting his 30th goal of the season. Kris Draper's empty netter with seconds left in the final period cemented Detroit's sixth straight victory.

Wings' goalie Dominik Hasek earned his 80th career donut, stopping 15 shots along the way. The second period proved exceptionally dismal for the Avalanche, as a Milan Hejduk goal with eight seconds on the clock was discounted due to incidental contact with Hasek. Colorado managed only one other shot on goal during the entire period, and were outshot 14-3 in the first. (More NHL stories.)
