Goalie Loses Game Due to Bizarre Puck-in-Pants Goal

Here's one of the weirdest hockey plays you'll ever see—one that ended a game, no less. Phoenix Coyotes goalie Mike Smith couldn't find the puck after it flew into the air in overtime. It landed in the back of his pants, and while he was searching for it, he backed right into the goal, essentially scoring on himself without realizing it. Despite the odd way in which it was scored, credit for the goal went to Mark Psyk of the Buffalo Sabres, who thus won 2-1, Bleacher Report notes. (More NHL stories.)
