Alec Baldwin had quite a week: Hours after his stalker was sentenced to jail Thursday (after a very eventful trial), Baldwin was caught on video chasing and yelling at a paparazzo outside his apartment. TMZ translated some of his comments as "c---sucking f--," which, if true, would be two gay slurs in a row. MSNBC responded by temporarily suspending his talk show yesterday, E! reports. Now Baldwin has apologized, though he insists he said "fathead" and not the worse alternative.

"I did not intend to hurt or offend anyone with my choice of words, but clearly I have—and for that I am deeply sorry," Baldwin wrote on MSNBC.com last night. "Words are important. I understand that, and will choose mine with great care going forward." He was reportedly educated on one word during this incident: GLAAD apparently had to inform him that "c---sucking" is also an anti-gay epithet. (More Alec Baldwin stories.)
