They're called "Interactive Urinal Communicators"—talking urinal cakes that Colorado officials hope will curb drunken driving. The state has started putting the cakes in bar bathrooms; when, er, activated, they dish out a safe-driving message, reports the Denver Post. "As soon as you start your business, it plays for 15 seconds, stops, and then is ready to play again for the next person," says a state transportation spokesperson. (You can hear a sample at KUNC.) Generally, the state message has been fine-tuned from the usual "don't drink and drive" to "drink and don't drive," an acknowledgement that people aren't going to stop heading out to bars.
