Good news, no one: Donald Trump's name is again appearing next to the term "birth certificate," and it seems he's still eager to gin up a little controversy over President Obama's. Asked today by ABC's Jonathan Karl whether his 2012 antics made him appear not serious, the Donald responded, "Why does that make me not serious? I think that resonated with a lot of people." Karl then asked whether the issue was resolved for him. “I have no idea," Trump responded. "I don’t know, was there a birth certificate? You tell me. You know, some people say that was not his birth certificate. I’m saying I don’t know. Nobody knows. And you don’t know either.” As for controversy over Ted Cruz, "That'll be ironed out, I don't know the circumstances," Trump said. Trump is appearing this weekend at an Iowa event for 2016 GOP presidential hopefuls. (More Donald Trump stories.)
