A dog-about-town earned a medal—and a new leather collar—after rescuing an infant from a roadside dump in Thailand. The dog, Pui, apparently found the baby girl in a plastic bag and carried her home, barking as he arrived. The infant, who weighs 4 lbs. 13 oz., was hospitalized; doctors say she was likely born at about seven and a half months. Officials are now looking for her mother. Meanwhile, Pui's owner, Gumnerd Thongmak, received a reward of about $327. (Read more dog stories.)
