If President Obama looks even grayer by the end of summer, this line in Politico might explain it: "All together, roughly one-third of House committees are engaged in investigating some aspect of the Obama administration." That includes two heavyweight panels—Darrell Issa's Oversight and Government Reform, along with Ways and Means—each looking into the IRS mess, and no fewer than five committees investigating the US response to the Benghazi attack. Throw in the new scandal about the Justice Department going after the phone records of reporters and an investigation into whether Health Secretary Kathleen Sebelius inappropriately raised millions of dollars from corporations and foundations to promote ObamaCare—those are just the highlights—and it adds up to months of congressional hearings.
