With names like Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, the Rolling Stones, and Kanye West appearing in the upcoming "12-12-12 Concert for Sandy Relief," tickets cost anywhere from $150 to $2,500. Officially. Unofficially, however, online scalpers are asking as much as $60,000, raising an outcry against those looking to make big money off the charity show that's supposed to help storm victims, reports the New York Daily News.

“I find it appalling that scalpers are trying to profit off this charitable concert,” Sen. Charles Schumer wrote to StubHub and TicketLiquidator. A StubHub spokesman defended the practice, saying the tickets would get resold anyway and adding that the company's 25% cut would go to charity, too. Ticketmaster, on the other hand, has now banned reselling tickets for next week's event on its resale sites. (More Hurricane Sandy stories.)
