You'd think a flight attendant would know better: Republic Airlines' Jaclyn Luby was rushing through security at the Philadelphia airport when a TSA guard spotted a loaded gun in her handbag. As a police officer examined it, it discharged. Luckily, no one was injured. Luby told authorities she had a permit to carry the .38 caliber Smith and Wesson Airweight revolver, but forgot that it was in her bag, reports the New York Daily News. She received a summary citation for disorderly conduct and was released. The cop who accidentally discharged the gun is on desk duty pending the results of an investigation into the incident.
